Data Deletion

1. Introduction

At Build With Automation, we prioritize your digital autonomy. To ensure full compliance with global privacy acts and Meta's Developer Policies regarding social media integrations, we provide three separate ways to revoke access credentials and completely delete your profile details, database rows, and media files from our servers.

2. Method 1: Self-Service Automated Deletion (Instant)

We provide a direct, automated interface inside your dashboard to completely remove your account without waiting for support verification:

1. Navigate to the application dashboard: app.buildwithautomation.com and sign in.
2. Click on the Settings button located in the sidebar menu.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page to the section titled "Delete Account".
4. Click the red Delete Account button.
5. A confirmation dialog will appear. To proceed, click the **"Yes, Delete My Account"** button to confirm your decision.
6. Action: Our system will immediately trigger database cascades that completely remove your user profile, purge all associated credentials, disconnect all social channels, and delete your video files instantly.

3. Method 2: Manual Request via Support (24-48 Hours)

If you cannot access your dashboard or want to request manual account deletion by our compliance team:

1. Send a direct email to our customer support desk: support@buildwithautomation.com.
2. Make sure to send the email from the **same email address** that you registered with on our dashboard.
3. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request — [Your Registered Email]".
4. In the email body, state your request to completely wipe your account and disconnect integrations. You do not need to provide any reason.
5. SLA: Our engineering team will verify the request, execute a complete system purge, and send you a formal confirmation email within **24 to 48 hours**.

4. Method 3: Revoking Access Directly from Facebook / Meta

If you want to revoke our application's access to your Instagram / Facebook Business page directly from Facebook's control center, follow these Meta steps:

1. Log into your personal Facebook account associated with your Instagram business profiles.
2. Go to your profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. In the left sidebar menu, click on Apps and Websites.
4. Locate the Build With Automation application inside the list of authorized apps.
5. Click the **Remove** button next to it.
6. Confirm the action. This immediately and permanently disables all our active OAuth access tokens on Meta's servers, completely blocking our platform from posting to your account.

5. What Stored Records are Wiped?

When you delete your account or submit a request, the following parameters are permanently and irreversibly purged from our database (Supabase) and file storage servers:

• Your name, email address, password hashes, and profile creation metadata.
• All encrypted Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube OAuth tokens.
• All raw video files (`.mp4`, `.mov`) uploaded by you to our cloud storage.
• All generated AI transcripts, subtitles, captions, and hashtag metadata associated with your assets.
• All performance analytics logs and scheduled posting items in the workflow system.

Please note that once the deletion is executed, it is **completely permanent**. Stored assets cannot be recovered, and you will need to register as a new user to use the platform again.
